One feature of the Post Office is the pre-Federation bronze private mailboxes.
Dating from the 1880s, the cast bronze boxes feature bevelled glass windows.
Mostly NSW, there are some AOC boxes that are probably transitional Federation period.
Always a talking point, these boxes are now fairly rare and are considered to be part of the village's heritage.
